Private Classes
One of the most popular classes I offer is meeting with my students in
a private home. Very often a group of parents will gather their children together for ongoing classes. Taking this
advice, a group of etiquette savvy parents gathered their young daughters for 5 weeks of charm and manners. I want
to thank Melinda Kaufman for hosting our classes in Metamora, Illinois.
Please enjoy the photos. You can tell that the fathers are very proud of their daughters!

Classes culminated with the girls attending a Father Daughter dance. The
girls looked beautiful and were able to put their newfound skills to good use at the dinner dance. As Melinda told
me, " The dance was wonderful. The girls all had a great time. Thank you again for the wonderful class." |
North Shore Golf Club Etiquette Classes
Menasha, Wisconsin
Eighty children and teens participated in etiquette and image classes
at North Shore Golf Club. After classes were completed a formal dinner was held Saturday evening with 150 parents
and students in attendance. Students acted as hosts and hostesses at the tables. Certificates were presented to
each participant with much applause. A wonderful time was had by all.
Students learned the importance of making a good first impression, using proper dining etiquette, setting a table.
They practiced good posture, walking, sitting, shaking hands and making introductions. Other topics included the
Golden Rule, good and bad habits, getting along with your family, manners in public, polite phrases, social skills.
The young ladies practiced tea-room modeling while the gentlemen learned the art of tying their neckties.
Each student received an autographed copy of Robin's book, Be The Best You Can Be, along with handouts related
to the course material.
My very special thanks to Mrs. Kate Bomier, North Shore board member for her dedication and competent assistance
in making this weekend such a success. Thanks go to Mr. Alan Johnston of North Shore for his attention to detail
in our classroom settings and for creating such a gracious formal dining experience for the attendees.
My gratitude goes to each parent for supporting this class with such enthusiasm. Go to Press Coverage for the Post-Crescent
newspaper article.
